at Villa Quartz
Some recommendations
The lodge kitchens are fully equipped to allow you to prepare your meals in the best conditions. Be careful with the garbage, because selective sorting is practiced in the town. Glass must in particular be deposited on sites outside the municipality. Please do not throw wipes in the toilets, which could seriously damage the micro-station!
The kitchens
In each lodge, the kitchens are equipped as follows: a large refrigerator
(with freezer compartment), induction hobs, a classic oven, an oven microwave, and one dishwasher
for 12 covers (except in the Red and Blue Lodges). You will also find all the small equipment
to allow you to do your everyday cooking: pots, pans, casseroles, dishes, utensils, etc. You also have a Nespresso coffee machine, of a classic coffee maker
with filters and a toaster.In your Lodge, the number of plates, glasses and cutlery is provided for double the capacity of the apartment: 12 people in the White and Quartz Lodges, 8 people in the Blue, Red and Crystal Lodges .

: CAUTION: if the induction hobs do not turn on when you press the buttons, it is because they are locked. In this case, long press the key to unlock them.
We carry out several complete inventories of kitchen equipment each year. However, between these inventories, it may happen that small utensils, crockery, some cutlery or others are missing. So do not hesitate to let us know and to ask us for additional information. We also have at your disposal at the reception: a raclette service, a stone grill, a plancha, large saucepans and oyster trays (to fetch open oysters from the oyster bed). If you need them, don't hesitate to ask us.
If the dishwasher requires additional salt and the coffee maker requires descaling, please let us know so that we can take care of it.
If you rent several lodges at the same time and you have to exchange crockery or small equipment between the apartments, please consider the comfort of the following tenants by putting everything back in place before your departure.
Please note: barbecues are not allowed, neither on the terrace nor in the garden.
Selective sorting and toilets
In your lodge, you have 2 garbage bins
to sort your waste.
- Tray with yellow dot: packaging and papers.
- Tray with gray patch: other waste
(except glass).
When your bins are full, you should deposit them in the two large gray and yellow containers located at the bottom of the path
bearing the words "Villa Quartz": packaging and papers in the yellow container (in bulk, without bag), and other waste in the gray container (with bags). (See detailed doc inside the kitchen cupboard door).
Glass should not be placed in the trash cans of Villa Quartz, but in specific containers located in nearby drop-off points in the town (see map opposite).
WC / TOILETS: especially NO WIPES!
The sanitation of Villa Quartz is autonomous and provided by a micro-station
with active oxygenation that treats wastewater in the field.It is imperative not to throw anything in the toilet, except toilet paper . Wipes, tissues, condoms, or other too thick paper are strictly prohibited because they block the oxygenation propeller, which seriously damages the motor of the micro-station and causes it to trip.
We have already had to have the micro-station repaired several times because of the wipes, change its motor, not to mention the odor nuisance that this causes for everyone! So PLEASE: STOP WIPES!
