Varengeville church

A magnificent site in front of the sea!
Masterful! Do not miss this visit ! Georges Braque and the musician Albert Roussel rest there. Claude Monet installed his easel there. Suspended above the sea, the church of Varengeville and its marine cemetery is one of those magical places that mark us, 5 km from Villa Quartz. You can choose to go there on foot by the GR21 or by car. The sea view is breathtaking!

The Castle Museum of Dieppe

The Manor of Ango

A gem of the Italian renaissance
Summer palace of the famous Dieppe shipowner Jehan Ango, the Manoir d'Ango is one of the most remarkable monuments in Normandy. A jewel of the Italian renaissance in the land of Normandy! Miromesnil Castle

A little treasure of French heritage.
A splendid beech forest shelters the Château de Miromesnil. Built in the 16th and 17th centuries, its facades are so different that they give the impression of discovering two castles. The visit to the salons evokes 3 great men: the Marquis de Miromesnil, Keeper of the Seals of Louis XIV, Guy de Maupassant and Albert de Mun, founder of social Catholicism. You can also visit the vegetable garden classified as Remarkable Garden.

The Michel Ciry Museum

To discover in Varengeville
Gifted with a multi-faceted talent, Michel Ciry was not only a painter but also watercolorist, engraver, designer, illustrator and writer. He was also devoted to musical composition alongside pictorial and literary creation until 1958, when his painting took a prominent place. Michel Ciry, who died in 2018, lived in Varengeville and his museum opens the doors to his personal collection 5 minutes from Villa Quartz.

The Bois des Moutiers

Do not miss !
Le Bois des Moutiers was created by Guillaume Mallet in 1898 with the help of the British architect Sir Edwin Lutyens who built this unique house in France, inspired by the “Arts & Crafts” movement. The famous gardens which surround the house were designed by the architect, in collaboration with the owner and the renowned English landscaper Miss Gertrude Jekill. Leading tourist site, internationally recognized for its architectural, botanical and artistic qualities 10 minutes from Villa Quartz. To visit between March 15 to November 15, with a real "fireworks" in spring when the Rhododendrons bloom.

Shamrock Garden

The largest collection of hydrangeas in the world!
The site hosts the CCVS national collection of hydrangeas and other hydrangeas. Largest collection in the world, Shamrock presents hydrangea and its evolution for more than 100 years. Over 1500 species and horticultural varieties in multiple shapes and colors are arranged in a didactic and aesthetic way, creating scenes of real beauty. Garden "Le Vasterival"

The passionate garden of Princess Sturdza
Created by Princess Sturdza for more than 50 years (1955-2009), the Vasterival is a special garden that appeals to novice gardeners as well as the greatest botanists and horicultural specialists. Self-taught gardener, the Princess has acclimatized in this cool valley and sheltered more than 10,000 species and varieties of plants, from the most common to the rarest, to make it a paradise that enchants visitors all year round. Guided tours only, at 11 am Monday to Friday during the season (one hour tours), and every Friday at 2 pm (2h botanical tours).

William Farcy Park

A pretty English park
In the heart of the town of Offranville, in an old farmhouse that has become the Colombier park, discover this 2.5 ha English-style park. You will be welcomed at the Maison du Parc, an 18th century charreterie, renovated and transformed on the ground floor into a tea room / bar and upstairs, into a museum of the famous painter-writer of the early 20th century, Jacques-Émile Blanche . Then, the visit will lead you to discover the 18 themed gardens which combine nearly 2,500 varieties of plants.

Located in the commune of Chapelle-sur-Dun, this 2-hectare park, this garden is the home of some fifty sculptures illustrating key moments in human life. Through three thematic spaces: the fire garden, the water garden and the garden between heaven and earth, Robert Arnoux staged this dialogue between man and nature. The Grand Forum Cinema

The Grand Forum Cinema is a brand new facility in Dieppe, opened in 2019. It has 8 theaters for 1360 seats, with Dolby DTSX sound. It also offers a coffee shop and a virtual reality park.

The Casino

Located on the seafront, the Casino is open every day of the year from 10 a.m. to 3 a.m. (4 a.m. Fridays, Saturdays and eve of holidays). 111 slot machines as well as traditional games. Shows and concerts are regularly scheduled in the large performance hall.

And if you can't find anything to your liking in Dieppe, don't despair: Rouen is only 40 minutes away, with many cinemas, performance venues, a Zenith and an Opera. By purchasing the daily newspaper "Paris-Normandie" (Rouen edition), you will have the calendar of all the Rouen shows.
