Internet TV

Internet & TV
in your Lodge

Internet, TV, music

In each Lodge, you have a Wifi point for internet access, one or more TVs with DVD player, as well as a Bluetooth speaker.

Internet, Wifi

Finally fiber! : After years of waiting and network hassles, fiber has finally arrived in Pourville since July 2022, and installed in all our lodges. We chose fiber from ORANGE. To connect to the internet, nothing could be simpler. You have free WIFI internet access from an Orange Wifi terminal, located in your apartment. To connect, simply select the WiFi network on your computer, tablet or phone: Villa-Quartz. Then enter the password: Quartz76119. Speeds are now at the top, even for streaming, video conferences or other...

On the other hand, the mobile phone network is not yet really efficient in Pourville, especially on busy days when the beach is crowded, which saturates the bandwidth! The mobile network from Orange is the one that works best, but those from Free, SFR or Bouygues are less well served. We therefore advise you to activate the "wifi calls" option on your phone when you are in your lodge, which will allow you not to lose any calls and to be able to make calls...

TVs, DVD players

In your Lodge, you have the TNT by satellite, with French channels, foreign channels and radio stations. The equipment is presented in 2 units :a TV flat screen anda demodulator to receive TNT.To watch TV, you must first switch on the television with its remote control. After, in 2 °, turn on the demodulator with its remote control. Then you must always use the demodulator's remote control to change channels (arrows or numbers). When you want to stop watching TV, you can switch off only the television, with its remote control and leave the demodulator on.
A DVD player is also at your disposal. If the TV does not recognize its signal when you insert a DVD, change the source from the TV remote. You will find a variety of DVD films available for loan at the reception of Villa Quartz.

Most Common Problems
Sometimes the receiver gets stuck and it is then necessary to unplug it and restart it.If the display indicates "no signal", it is probably because the source has been changed, and the TV does not recognize the receiver. Then press the "sources" button on the TV remote control, and scan the different sources to find the correct one (in general: HDMI).In case of bad signal, check if the antenna wire is correctly plugged into the wall outlet. It happens that it is incorrectly connected or inadvertently disconnected when cleaning the Lodge.
